Executive Vice President Nicki brings her expertise in public relations, advertising, social media, design, and campaign strategy to win impactful campaign victories that transform the lives of working people. Nicki leads day-to-day client relations and goals, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
Nicki previously served as the communications director at UNITE HERE Local 26, Boston and Rhode Island’s 12,000-member strong food service and hospitality workers union. At UNITE HERE, she drafted campaign messaging, talking points and slogans, while also designing visuals to match the tenor of each campaign.
At UNITE HERE Local 26, her work stretched across three successful open-ended strikes, including the Harvard Dining Hall Workers Strike of 2016, the Marriott Hotel Workers Strike of 2018, and the Battery Wharf Hotel Strike of 2019. Workers at the Battery Wharf in Boston went on strike for 79 days, resulting in historic sexual harassment protections, as well as guarantees of affordable healthcare, wage increases, and a pension. Through the campaign, Nicki created and executed all internal communications to striking union members and external communications to the public and the company.
