Krissi, Senior Executive Vice President of 617MediaGroup, is a seasoned communications professional and strategic organizer with a 20-year track record of winning progressive campaigns.

At 617MediaGroup, Krissi combines her strategic communications and campaign experience for a range of labor unions and workers’ rights causes across the U.S. 

Krissi previously served as the Associate Director for Working America, the political organizing arm of the national AFL-CIO. There, she provided key leadership in the development and implementation of the organization’s overarching communications strategy. She also managed public relations efforts to leverage strategic moments in the news cycle.

Krissi has also served as the Communications Coordinator at Service Employees International Union (SEIU), where she managed long-range communications planning and implementation for multiple state-wide campaigns. In addition, she built coalitions with national disability rights groups and partnerships among care providers, consumer advocates, community groups, elected officials, and employers to improve care and care-provider working conditions.

More recently, Krissi worked at United Way Worldwide, where she served as the Director of Impact Strategies and National Partnerships. During her time there, Krissi led a team charged with accelerating the impact of the United Way U.S. network in education, income, and health through strategic partnerships, tools, and resources.

Krissi earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Monmouth College. She obtained her master’s in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University.
