Erika Dinkel-Smith brings over two decades of experience in the labor movement to her work advancing the rights of working people. She most recently served as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Labor Advisor in the Biden-Harris White House, following her role as National Labor Director on the Biden-Harris campaign. Erika has also led political and legislative efforts as the National Political and Legislative Director at IATSE, where she championed key policies to improve the lives of entertainment industry workers.
Throughout her career, Erika has organized, negotiated, and advocated across sectors to deliver real wins for working families. Whether building broad coalitions or shaping policy at the highest levels of government, she brings a deep commitment to economic justice and equity.
Outside of her work in labor and politics, Erika has served as a wildland firefighter.
