At 617MediaGroup, Executive Director of Public and Client Relations, Vishakha combines her expertise of multimedia, media buying, and campaigning for the benefit of her clients’ causes and campaigns. She regularly produces carefully curated virtual events, advertising campaigns, and media moments to advocate for environmental justice, racial equity in the cannabis industry, and safe, reliable, and affordable public transit and childcare.
Before joining 617MediaGroup, Vishakha worked in the multimedia department of the Boston Herald, where she produced original videos for the Herald’s website and assisted editors in converting news stories to online content for both web and social media. Prior to her work at the Herald, Vishakha worked in communications roles with Proficiency Lab Interchange, Inc. and Arlington Community Media.
Vishakha earned her master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College, where she was awarded the Dean’s Fellowship and the Bruce Lerch Graduate Journalism Award.
