Mike is a veteran media professional, having served as a News & Web Producer at WHDH-TV before joining WBZ-TV News. At WBZ, Mike was a morning News Producer for more than six years. In that role, Mike covered the 2008 and 2012 Presidential elections and played a key role in producing the station’s Peabody Award-winning coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing.
From there, he went on to join the Massachusetts Gaming Commission as Digital Communication Coordinator, overseeing a wide range of marketing and public awareness campaigns, including the successful “Build a Life that Works” campaign to recruit more women into the construction trades and GameSense, a campaign to re-think the way players, support providers, and gaming companies talk about responsible gambling.
Mike is a dedicated progressive activist and a graduate of Boston College. He resides in Norwood, MA with his wife and two children.
